Class has started for Garrett and Kevin

Classes started this week for both Garrett and Kevin. Garrett started the Pre-K program. There are 2 classes of 20 with 2 teachers each. There is a diverse mix of students. He really likes it. He just doesn't realize how far he has to go...

I am taking Facilities Management 101, and Building Construction Overview. The homework and reading is already piling up. What was I thinking? : )

Back to School

Good news! I have just been accepted by the Ga Tech, College of Architecture, Building Construction department. I will be starting the Graduate, Facilities Management / Integrated Project Systems program in August. I have always been interested in Real Estate / Construction. Hopefully this will give me a solid foundation to try to switch industries.

However, I have long been a UGA fan, so I guess now I will have to change my allegiance! I'm so confused!!!

I'm too sexy for this dress! Emily loves to dress up like a princess in some of Hope's old balerina outfits.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1..... Blast off! This was the second time swimming this year and Garrett is already jumping off the diving board. Now he doesn't even need his floaties. He is a little tadpole.

Hope and I had a small birthday party with Garrett's Summer Pre-K class. There is nothing like a room full of yungins hopped up on sugar!

Kevin Gump

OK, here is the last of memory lane for Kevin. It's true, I really did break my leg in boot camp. The bottom pic is at Shane's graduation. I actually came home a week after he did. Compare Shane in this pic with the duckhead pic below. No more FAT BODY!!.

OK, I thought that some of you might get a kick out of seeing how stupid we all used to look. I think that this was taken in 1992 after consuming several beverages. The top right was the only known pic of a TAP carving! NICE!! Ahh, the things you do when you are young and stupid!! I hope that Garrett doesn't follow : ) .

The Kitchen Remodel

Well, it took over 6 weeks but the kitchen is finally done ( Pics were before the tile backsplash was installed). We are really enjoying it, however, I don't think that it has made either of us a better cook! I guess we better start learning, because now we can't afford to eat out!!

Our contractor, Steve did a great job. He even was able to put up with me looking over his shoulder and scrutinizing every charge down to the penny.
